We are a fast-moving startup backed by Protagonist, A* Capital, ex/ante, and angels who have built and invested in billion dollar businesses. We believe that all users online should be able to link any account to any other; taking their context and data with them. We’re building the infrastructure to make this possible.
We’re focused on enabling users to bring their personal context into the new age of apps—particularly AI agents, chatbots and automation tools. Companies can build powerful new tools using Bruinen’s APIs to request access to their users’ accounts, wherever they live online.
We are based in-person in San Francisco, with team members coming into the office 4+/week.

We’re a small, fast-moving, happy team. We work out of an office in San Francisco, and have invited other startup friends to come cowork with us — so it’s lively! Everyone is building and excited to share.

We’re a technical crew, with a product built by engineers for engineers; so you can imagine there are some nerdy jokes in there as well.
